Pecan Energies Ghana CEO Inspires Students at Wesley Grammar SHS on Character Development

The CEO of Pecan Energies Ghana Limited, Mrs. Kadijah Amoah, has challenged students of Wesley Grammar Senior High School in Accra to demonstrate grit and resilience in the pursuit of their life goals. She addressed the students as part of the Energy Personalities Outreach Programme, a flagship impact-oriented initiative of the Ghana Energy Awards. Mrs. Amoah was named the ‘Female Energy Personality of the Year’ at the 2023 awards.

Mrs. Amoah’s presentation, titled Character Trait Development, explored the essential qualities required to thrive in both life and career. She highlighted resilience, determination, leadership, and integrity as the cornerstones of success, emphasizing that talent alone is insufficient without the right character traits. Drawing on powerful examples such as Malala Yousafzai and Nelson Mandela, she encouraged the students to embrace challenges, pursue their goals with persistence, and stay true to their values in the face of adversity.

Her participation in the outreach programme underscores Pecan Energies’ ongoing commitment to education and youth development in Ghana. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the company has provided scholarships to 141 students for tertiary education across the country. This investment in education reflects Pecan Energies’ belief in nurturing the next generation of leaders and building a brighter future for Ghana.

The Energy Personalities Outreach Programme connects students with industry leaders, offering them insights into the energy sector while inspiring them to pursue excellence in their own lives.
