In recognition of her influential leadership, Ms. Kadijah Amoah, CEO of Pecan Energies Ghana Limited, has been named a 2024 Woman of Impact. The award was presented at the recent Women of Impact Honors event, an annual celebration of female leaders who have made significant contributions to their industries and communities.
The award was received on behalf of the CEO by Pecan Energies’ Compliance Manager, Mrs. Adobea Mensah-Yawson, who was accompanied by Edward Aryee, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, and Joy Ahiabor, Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Under Ms. Amoah’s exemplary leadership, Pecan Energies Ghana Limited has reached commendable new heights, serving as an example for future generations of female leaders within sectors traditionally dominated by men. She oversaw the successful presentation and subsequent approval of the Plan of Development for the Deepwater Tano Cape Three Points block (DWT/CTP) offshore Ghana.
The company is now making good progress towards a Final Investment Decision (FID).
She continues to break barriers and inspire women to pursue leadership roles in the energy sector and beyond. The award honors her pioneering role as the first Ghanaian woman to head an international oil and gas company.
